With a passion for drawing and painting, my work takes inspiration from nostalgia and illustrated children’s books. I utilise these illustration skills and transfer them onto 3D ceramic surfaces to create one of a kind, whimsical ceramic objects that I assemble together to form a narrative.

I use porcelain as a canvas to create highly detailed illustrations. The purity of the snow white porcelain accentuates the vibrancy of the colours allowing me to achieve all the qualities of a finished painting. I love the process of hand painting detailed imagery onto clay. It is not the easiest surface to paint on and it sets a challenge due to how quickly it absorbs moisture, making the finished outcome even more satisfying. My favourite part is seeing how the colours change through the different stages right from the first application to the final glazed outcome.

I am a graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design as of 2025 with a BA in Ceramics in Expanding Practice.
